Fog light wiring question

Well I had PIAA 2100xt fog lights installed a while ago, but since then I have removed them because the casing was cracked and what not. I have finally gotten around to installing the Accord Foglights, but the question of how to wire them comes up. I still have the PIAA wiring harness still installed. So my questions are:
1) Can I use the existing PIAA wiring harness, or should I remove that and redo it with the accord wiring harness?
2) What is the accord foglight switch part number or year/model of accord that will fit?

Thanks for any help.

IMO.. it would probably be safer to replace all your wiring.. unless its identical.. but u would still have to do some re-wiring with the piaa harness .. right?

As far as I know, you can only get the wire harness & the switch if you get the whole fog light set. If you install accord wire harness, it only turns on with the headlight(factory spec). I've heard it's illegal in some state to turn on the fog lights only with the parking lights.
But if you use PIAA wire harness, you can make them turn on whatever way you like depends where you get +power. It's up to you. Good luck!

Question I need a harness too : o )

I'm installing fog lights in my 2000 tl

I bought the factory switch for the 2002 tl and I'm wondering which harness I should go with?

Honda?

Acura?

Aftermarket?

I think the acura will be plug and play with my switch (and yes, I know honda is acura)...

part numbers are welcome

Hey Doc,

I think you're out of luck trying to get just the harness. I had the same problem with my Accord fogs. Ended up getting the whole kit instead.

See, I'm not familiar with it...

I don't exactly know what I need or what part will be compatible... I'm sure I can get wires to go from the battery somewhere, but I want one that's compatible with the 02-03 fog switch.

I thought maybe that someone has done this and could give me some insight. how much was the kit or are you talking about he whole kit with the round lights and everything?

I bought the oval fogs like Songoku and a few people on the board have. It came with everything. It was a few hundred bucks.
