Fog light modification

Can someone send me the link to the fog light modification so they are on when the parking lights are on. I printed this out before and lost it. It is going to be nice this weekend and I'm gonna attempt to do it. Thanks for the help.

Thank you. What is the best way? Using a clip or just tape? When you use the clip, do you just put the 2 together and clip it together? I've heard not to cut them, but I just can't picture it in my head. What kind of clip is it called? Thanks for the help, don't want to screw up my car. Done some electrical but not in years.

You can get those type of clips from any auto parts stores. All it's doing is connect 2 wires together without any cutting. 10 minute job, but you'll be happy forever.

I bought some clips but I just noticed they are 18-14 gauge. Ours are 18-20, anybody know if these will still work?

You mean changing the bulbs? That's even easier, just read the manual.

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum.

My service manager at the dealership that I take my car in told me that if I do this mod, it will void the warranty, is that true?

service managers are diks... they might void ur warranty if u put anything but 93octane in ur tank

i dont see why doing the mod wud void ur warranty... theyd have to prove that what u did was the cause of the problem

An experienced user speaking his mind...

After having done the mod myself, I'd have to give this one a

WHY? 2 reasons.

A) If you ever do a HID conversion, the last thing you'd want is to have your HID's flicker on and off everytime you arm/disarm the alarm.

B) Notice how many people complain about the short lifespans of their aftermarket 9006 bulbs (regardless of brand)? Well...the most abuse incandescent bulbs go through is when you turn them on/off all the time. If one advice is to make sure you turn ON your lights AFTER you turn ON your engine to make your bulbs last longer (to reduce voltage fluctuations), imagine the abuse your putting in by leaving the foglight switch on and arming/disarming your alarm on a daily basis?

hahaha, another three year old thread that was promted by this:

a DRL thread...

Correct me if I am wrong, but if you leave the headlights on as per design from Honda, and arm the alarm, do not your headlights flicker anyway? It has been a long time since I did this mod. years in fact, yet I am still on original bulbs, everywhere except the rear and one fog lamp.

I dont recall that they flicker... I dont believe that the headlights flicker if they are still left on while you arm.
