I know there have been a lot of posts about this but i was unclear on what bulb size and manufacturer i would need to purchase in order to get the closest possible match to our halogen headlights. thank you for your help.

 

Are you looking for match or brightness? I would love to perk up my fogs, with a brighter bulb. As the fogs won't blind anyone, brighter should just give us more peripheral view.
