I met a guy one time at my old job that came in with a Honda Key fob he said he had for his 99 TL...it was the kind where the remote and the key are one unit...like the Lexus and BMW keys...anybody know if and where I can get one? Is there an Acura one too? Thanx!!!

There was an Accord on the sales floor where my girlfriend bought her CR-V that had one of those. It would be really cool if Acura had 'em too. The key did look kinda bulky but it still would have saved some room on the key ring.

 

So they ARE the new standard keyless entry fob...it would be nice if Acura made them too considering it's supposed to be an UPSCALE brand to compete with the likes of Lexus and Infiniti and BMW...do you happen to know if they have those fobs sold separately? It'd be cool if you could buy one of them and then just re-program it for the TL. I think there also is a company out there that makes the key fobs exactly like BMW's (except without the BMW logo obviously) for any car...I just wish I knew where. I would be nice to save on that key space. My dad has a bimmer, and when I take his car out, it's nice to have the key and remote together.
