I did a search for this but i couldnt find any info pertaining my question, Anyway my question is that since yesterday everytime i start my car up i notice the maintainence light flashing a few time and then going off, Is it just me or this normal behaviour? Btw My transmission feels fine. Thanks

means its time for an oil change, tire rotation, or possibly your 30,000 mile maintenance.

 

u will find the answer when u read ur owner's manual~

over 9000km it will start to flash for 15 sec then goes off

over 12000km will stay on after flashing 15 sec

 

Yep got the same year and same prob.

I have 92K on it.

This is normal it just is a reminder light for service. It just needs to be reset & how to do that is in the owners manual. I forget the steps on how to do it off the top of my head. Its very easy to reset it just push a few buttons. Its just a reminder light nothing is wrong with your car.

 

I think we answered the question. Just a reminder light to change your cars oil. As for resetting it until you get around to it, Check out the post "TL-S Tips I've Learned" one of the posts tell you how to do it.
