Fixing P0420 and P0401 codes

Car Model-> Acura 3.2 TL 2001 Currently has 172k miles. Car bough in Jan 2021.
Summary -> Car displaying P0401 and P0420 codes. need help to figure out diagnosing the issue

Details-

1. Carbon buildup was cleaned in July 2021 for p0401. EGR was replaced. Code went away.
2. Catalytic converter stolen in Jan 2022.
3. Muffler shop, my friend's tax client. replaced catalytic under insurance with Magnaflow in Feb 2022. I was out of country and friend did it for me. He didn't drive the car besides it taking it to the shop.
4. Came back in April 2022.
5. Drove the car for a month and p0420 code came up.
6. Muffler shop said potential oxygen sensor issue and did a zip tie.Light when off. I think it was the front O2 sensor.
7. Since then the CEL comes off and on. The CEL goes of sometimes when the car goes uphill. It comes back., No major driving issues. Once experienced a power loss and could not go over 55 mph. Self resolced.
8. Muffler shop have given up. Muffler shop suspected i was using bad sub standed and caused the catalytic converter to melt. I use Costco gas. They unweld the catalytic coverter piping and it was fine. Pics included..
9. Reset ECU by disconnecting battery for 20 mins.
10. Since 3 weeks, Now I randomly get a p0401 code sometimes with TCS coming on. No driving issues.

Any advice how to debug and solve the issue? Should have insisted on OEM catalytic converter and taken to geico preferred auto repair shop that gives life time warranty.

is that a rebar chastity belt for you cat?

I'm not entirely certain, but you probably need a catalytic converter that is specific to your models emission group.
