FIX seat squeeks for GOOD!!!

GUYS...at first I thought it was the seats..after 2 trips to dealer..it's still no good.... then one day i notice...the sound when i pulled on the seatbelt when it's secured..
when I pulled hard on it left to right...squeeky sound appears..

then I remem someone mentioned using WD40 = lubricant spray on where the seat belt secures in. I sprayed a little into it...the next morning... I tried many ways to pull on it...the squeeky noise is GONE!!!

it's been 1 whole week..and NO SEAT NOISE... guess the dealers doesn't know about this...it's the seatbelt fastener.

Hope this helps to People who complain their seat squeeks..

Hey, do a search next time, I had the exact problem and described the solution -- WD40 on the buckle hinge!

BTW, my armrest compartment's hinge is now making a horrible squeak when opened all the way. Time for the WD-40 again!

My passenger seat buckle is fine. I'm sure it's the seat itself that is squeaking. Both are actually known culprits for noise production. I think it has more dBs than the Bose stereo that they put into our cars.

Thumbs down

I thought the belt was the issue too after reading some strings in here, but even when I don't wear it (to test for noise) I can still hear squeak. It's in the seat back I'm pretty sure.

what do you spray?....inside the buckle(where the seat belt go in) or the around the bolt that holds the buckle to the seat?

Wd-40 fixes everything. Squeeky seats, armrests, limp penises, tight vagies, EVERYTHING.
