this was my first time ever at the track. I came expecting 14.9 and that's what i got. i had a blast...anticipation and watching others was so much fun. except when theres a leak on the track...takes forever to clean up.

A really good reaction time, and your ET was pretty good considering the heat. Go in the winter and you'll be at 14.6 or 14.7 range.

nice! i ran a 14.89 @ 94.5 mph a week ago in 67 deg., 60% humidity at 760ft

I have headers and the intake .. i thought my TL-S was slow .. glad to see you're in the high 14's as well!

I was looking for mid-14's...

Go to Englishtown where 1 raindrop = 30 min delay for cleanup.

Good Run. Went to Epping yesterday and saw two CLS running (I didn't run because I just got my new tranny installed on Friday). One ran a 14.5 @ 97 and the other a 14.6 @ 96-97mph. I doubt they ran better afterwards becasue the day only got hotter. It must have been mid-80s when they ran and that was at 11am (eventually reached 90+.)

I saw some 11 and 12 second supras as well as plenty of 16-18 second civics, millenias, and neons as well as some 13-low 14 second integras and civics. Saw a 13.6 @104 from an new barely broken in STi and I think a 14 flat from an SRT-4. Also saw an 11 second rx-7. Most impressive was a 12.8 run by a modded GTP. That sucker was fast and now I am a believer on how moddable they can be. Disappointment of the day was a maxima that ran a 13.9. reason was that it was a six-speed, with pullies and headers but running a 75 shot (Zex). I would have expected more from a setup like that. Either way it was pretty fast.

I'm starting to believe the CL-S is faster than the TL-S ... i've read soooo many posts regarding timeslips for both cars, and the Cl-S is always a couple to multiple tenths faster

I'll let you know when I go to the track. I agree but to our defense the CLS guys go to the track a lot more than the TLS guys so they have more numbers to compare. I have the same number of mods as one of the CLS guys (the one that ran a 14.5) so we'll go one day together and both run to get a fair comparison.

I have a timeslip of a CL-s and i racing....unfortunately they could only time us to the 1/8 mile the first part of the night and he left early so we never got to race again.

Let me find the slip and I will post it ! If i remember correctly it was still pretty close.

I'd say the CL-S is indeed a few ticks faster w/ the six speed, and barely quicker in auto form...
Nice runs, blue!
