For The First Time...
I pumped in more than 15 gallons of gasoline yesterday~
yeah I know it's nothing special, but I was surprised how low my gas level was...
question: does the gas indicator "blink" when it's really low? low being less than 1.5 gallons in the tank.
what was the most you filled?
THX

Ran on empty light (TL-S) for 70 miles at 70mph on the highway and then filled up 15+ gallons.. had another 2 gallons spare to go .. love the backup built-into cars in terms of fuel tank reserve.
i think the most i pumped was 15.9 maybe 16. i ran pretty low sometimes. i never seen it blink. if it did blink it would be so awesome but from my driving dangerously low, i dont think it does blink sorry

Our fuel tank capacity is about 17 gal. if you refill it as soon as the light blinks and take what ever the number of gallon you just put in and subtracted that from 17. you should be able you get the approximate fuel you have left when the light blinks.
Personnally, i dun drive on less than 1/4 tank of fuel. The most i pump was probably 12 gallons.

there was this one time when my frd literally ran out of fuel. The engine shut down, and lucky he was so close to his house (at the end of the street), he was able to let the car's momentum "roll" him back home
it was so freakin funny, he didn't need to stop the car with the brakes, cux it stopped right at his door!!!!!!

1--Actual fuel capacity is more than 17.17 gallons as stated in owner's manual
2--He topped off; unless he ran out of gas or was literally running on fumes, he must have done so unless #1 is true
3--He ran out of gas

I topped off, on Red light (2 ticks left) I fill some 14.5 Gals... now drive some 40 HW miles and you are aon the E line... I fill some more than 16 Gals... If I top off with slow bursts of gaz .... The gas would settle in and the CLS would drink more gaz like a thirsty camel... Once I reached 17.2 Gal!
I guess 1-- above is TRUE!
