Go buy yourself and oil filter....

from your dealer (save the reciept), some oil and do it yourself... unless you have some warranty issues I would avoid the dealership like the plague...

I think they just change the oil and filter, rotate your tires and charge you about 80 bucks.

Replace engine oil and filter.
Inspect front and rear brakes.
Rotate tires (follow pattern on page 264 of your owner's manual.
Inspect tie rod ends, steering gear box and boots.
Inspect suspension components.
Inspect driveshaft boots.

thats what the 7500 service includes... charge u around 100 for it

Went to Park Avenue for that service, they charged me $160 total. Did the oil change and the filter, rotated the tires, I "asked" them to check out the transmission fluid (just in case), don't know if they did it.
Don't know if they,
Inspect front and rear brakes
Inspect tie rod ends, steering gear box and boots
Inspect suspension components
Inspect driveshaft boots
Atleast it didn't say so on the reciept.

He told me to do the next maintenece myself (oil and filter) in march if I wanted to and I will.

7500 mile service is the biggest hoax.........it is basically a glorified oil change w/ a tire rotation. Definately not worth the money, and all those components they "check" should be just fine @ 7500 miles. I'd jack it up, change the oil and rotate the tires and visually inspect everything, and if it looks fine, it probably is. Their "inspection" is no more than a once over when they have the car up in the air, it is by no means extensive. Dealerships make their money by doing services, don't waste your time or money with it. Even if you don't get it done, it won't void your warranty, and chances are everything is just fine.

My dealer wanted like $140 for the 7500 service. I didn't do it. I will go in on my 15000 service. I do way to many miles to go in ever 7500 miles. All you need to do is change your oil and rotate the tires. It takes a hr or 2.

Doing the 7500 miles service ourselves will not void our warranty???????? In this case will the oem tl-s oil filter be optimal with mobil one 5w-30?

If I were you, don't do any maintance until 30K miles. Just regular oil changes and tire rotations, if you like change your transmission fluid... but that's it....
I am planning to do full 30K maintance...
