Finally Bought a TL....

I am picking it up today. I am coming from a 91 accord, still runs strong but A/c is shot and various little age related issues(anyone want it cheap?).
Its a 2003 TL-S in Anthracite metallic.

I have been on the verge of a 3rd/2nd gen for a while now, and im glad to finally have one.

What a big upgrade! A 12-year difference, 2 extra cylinders, double the HP, and a helluva load of luxury goodies.

Of course that is the natural progression of Accord owners. I had a '96 EX-V6. Once you go V6 power, you don't go back to the 4-banger!

Congratulations, and welcome to the Type-S club.

How much do you want for the Accord? My friends and I are looking for a cheap beater. Don't ask why.

Yeah i tell you i miss that car already. It has never had a problem in 8 years. I hope i have the kind of luck with the TL-S. I think i should be ok i have an Acura 100k bumper to bumper. BTW this car is great. its eats gas when you get on it but thats ok when it had double the power of the accord i guess. any wise tips or tricks from anyone?
THanks
Jay

bro...from the pic it doesn't look like a dent, it looks more like a deep scratch. ask the dent wizzard but IMO, it needs re-painting or try touch up paint. But touch paint won't do a great job specially in your case. They are only good in small/minor scratches.

yea thats the main thing abuot upgrading your car...you also upgrade your worries

i used to throw my old accord around like it was nothing...it was a DX and had the big rubber bumpers so i could rear end people and it wouldnt scrath anything

now some fuck tapped the back bumper of my TL and chipped off alot of paint...and im TRIPPIN....i also had my front hood pushed in a little bit due to city parking....if i had my accord i wouldnt think twice

Congrats, thats my favorite color and its was only available for the TL-S model in 03. That's why I got it too.

Yonkers, I use to live there as a kid. On Elliott Ave if I remember correctly. Sorry to hear about the window but thats not unusually for that area. That's been happened since the 80's. Damn punk kids!!!

Oh and Happy Modding!!!

'89 SEi Accord coupe (green/tan) to '98 LX-V6 coupe (green/tan) to '02 CRV EX (black/black) to the '04 Navi TL. Dyed-in-the-wool fan of the big H. Honda knows that God is in the details. Ever have a blocked sightline in a Honda (with a properly adjusted seat)?

its true, besides the obvious engineering marvels in powertrain design, its the attention to details and littles things that people actually use that make the cars great.
