Wink The final word on the TL-S

OK, everyone knows/wishes it will happen. But why is everyone up-in-arms about 'why would Acura do that. It would only hurt the sales of the CL-S?'

Why? Because car companies often make STUPID judgemnts and decisions.
For instance: no fogs or memory seats on our 'luxury' car.

CASE CLOSED!!

Not a stupid move at all in my opinion. The logic that it 'would hurt sales of the CL-S' is crazy - Acura would have never even made a CL if this was the case, as it competes with the TL. Gee, why doesn't Acura just offer a 'one-size-fits-all' car instead of many different models?!?

Take the 2-door BMW 330ci versus the 4-door 330i. Do you think that BMW cares that some will forego the 4-door for the 2-door? No, they are just trying to broaden their product line and appeal to more people. Same for Acura with the TL-S, although I will not think as highly of my normal TL if/when the S comes out. Maybe I'll have to trade up some day...
