I was reading over the Type 4 servicing and I saw:
24 mths/48,000 km Replace Air Conditioning Filter
just wondering if this is also known as the cabin air filter?
I'm just a lil confused cuz I also saw Replace air cleaner element. which I believe is for one in the engine, right?
Also saw Replace dust and pollen filter (if applicable)....now where is that (or do we have that filter??) and can I do that myself? A search on the site didn't pull up any results.
Thanks dudes.

Air cleaner element is the engine air filter. I recommend replacing with a K&N filter now because you will never have to replace it again - just clean it, so it will pay for itself when you would have to buy a regular paper filter. And it flows more air.

Sweet you just confirmed what I thought about the filters. Then I can cross out the dust/pollen filter and A/C filter off the Type 4 servicing list since I'll be changing out my cabin air filters myself in the next day or 2. Yep, I already have a K&N filter. I already change my own oil and rotate my tires too, so it looks like the only major thing I'll need the dealership to do is to service the brakes and everything else is just inspecting and hopefully that means not paying a too much.

ya I really wouldnt worry about the dealer unless its under warranty or for major repairs or work, like a transmission. Everything else do yourself - if you can or go to another shop that can work on Honda/Acura, they are quite a bit cheeper there.
