I cannot seem to get a good picture of exactly what the fenderwell trim looks like. Is it simply just more plastic that extends from the top of the splash guard around the wheel well?

What's the use?

 

Its plastic/rubber that fits around the fender and door edges. Some of the dealers I went to said it looked cheap. I personally didnt like it since I was able to tear it off from one of the TL-S's on the backlot. I guess its usefull if you want to prevent any accidental door dings to other peoples cars, but if you take a closer look, there isnt a luxury car out there with fender/door trims. It just doesnt look slick.
