"Fake" Type S on eBay??
"Fake" Type S on eBay??
I found this car for sale on ebay (actually, it's already been sold). To me, it looks like a Premium TL w/ a type S badge, wheels, and gauges. Am I wrong? I didn't think you could get this color combo in the States. Also, it doesn't have Type S seats.
I hope I'm right because I sent the buyer an e-mail telling him he may have been scammed.

There was a thread that discussed this sale a few weeks ago and it's gone now. All the discussion indicated that the deal was a fraud. People e-mailed this guy and info came back that was conflicting and with a lot of discrepancies.
Hopefully, this guy used e-bay's services that guarantee the sale. If not, I feel sorry for the guy who won.

I received an e-mail from the buyer. He said it is a Type-S that was a theft recovery and had the Type-S interior replaced w/ that of the Premium model. Ok. It does look like an ABP but sometimes pictures are deceiving.

It's an S.
VIN: 19UUA568X2A032753
Year/Make/Model: 2002 ACURA 3.2 TL TYPE-S
According to CarFax, it's had 4 owners in 2 states with only 19k miles on the odo. Sounds fishy to me.
