yo today we tried to install the aem cai but we couldn't cuz we r not mechanics and those instruction are pretty hard to understand, i tried looking 4 info here but nothin, btw we got a tl type s

to start we dont know where to cut for the valve second the hoses and then is how to secure the cai, there si some bar in the way

so you removed teh factory air box, and resonator. the valve you are talking about is it the bypass valve? that can go any where there is room. where is this bar that is in the way?

 

yeah the bypass, the bar that goes across, where u have to attach the cai
i heard it with out the resonator and it sounds sweet but my dad wanted to put it back on
i want to install it already its been waiting 4 4 like a month

 

damn now my wants to return it cuz they guy from the auto shop told him it only gave hp and he wanted better mileage, and it only costs 50 bucks to install it but hes gonna return it damn,,
who should i speak to to return it

its my dads but what i meant was the my wanted better mileage on the car he doesnt care about the hp or sound

 

you'll only be getting an average of +.5 to +1 on your average...

 

lol, if he wants to get the best mileage, tell him to keep the intake and get headers as well. also, like i sad before, if you want i'll isntall it for you guys... free of charge.
