my 3 year warranty is up in the middle of october this year for my 2000 model and i'm thinking of asking about extending it.

is this even possible?

is it a good idea (i haven't needed to have anything done so far) ?

how much will it cost? (hopefully it's based partly on mileage - i only have 19K on mine)

any thoughts appreciated.

as with any car, it's a good idea to have the extended warranty
any mechanical failure would make it more than a bargain, and if there isn't any problems, at least... peace of the mind

I have a y2k tl and it has a four year warranty. Am I missing something? Have you gone over the 50k mile limit?

oh, really - whoops - i should go read my docs again - i was sure it was 3 years - it's only 19K miles.
