I am looking for a good, loud, deep exhaust system. Gains are partially in the decision of exhaust. Thats why im not just getting new mufflers. But any suggestions are great!

 

Have a shop remove the muffler shaped resonator between the mufflers and the cat converter and replace it w/a straight pipe. and if your looking for good hp gains get headers.25-28whp gain=about 38-40bhp gain

 

how loud would it get without the resonator?
would it be louder than 350z or G35? Because I love how G35 sounds as a stock car.
I wish I could hear the sound somehow without the resonator.

 

its not a whole lot louder with the factory exhaust, its deaper sounding though. as for hp gains with the mufflers, your not going to get much. i personally like the comptechs, you can make them sound awsome by removing the resonators, but if it gets too loud for you on a long drive you can put the quiet tip inserts in.

Thats with both resonator removed but he put back the small resonator due to ,,,well resonance.

 

is that the axle back or the cat back comptech system
