exhaust pipe too low

exhaust pipe too low
Hello all from a relatively new member.
My right tail pipe/muffler for some reason sits a fiew inches lower compared to the left one (I can take a picture if that would help). It doesn't feel lose, but I wonder if there is a way to lift it up so it doesn't look ugly. I haven't crawled too far under the car yet. Where should I look for a braket or screw that lifts the mufler? Is it something obvious that I should be able to see w/o a service book? regards. zibadun

Thanks. I checked and the two rubber pieces are in place. The mufler itself sits 1/2 inch lower and the tailpipe points downward another inch. I'm not sure if the pipe is bent. Wierd. I bought the car used and don't remember if the problem was there from the beginning.

i have the same problem noticed it one day after a year of owning the car i always just thought maybe someone backed into me or hit my exhaust somehow.,Now that I have Apexi WS2 the problem really bothers me, I use a metal zip tie to hold it up a little , this helped but the right side exhaust still actually looks like it sits foward more that the left side about 1 inch(i can see the apexi lettering on the right one but not on the left side its hidden more)
I'm fed up so im going to a exhasut shop to see if they can bend the rod that holds the bushings so that then maybe my exhaust can look even......Tell me if you figure anything out also

Mine hung lower on the P-side. I just took a 2x4 and my jack and bent the hanger up a little

Ok now I remember exactly what happened. I was backing up through some packed snow some time ago and I'll bet the right side mufler got pushed up too much by the snow, the pipe met the bumper and bent. I can even see some marks on the bumbper now. Damn me. Is there an easy way to bend the pipe back into place?

Lay under the exhaust, and give it a little push to see how much would it take to align it properly. Then you can see what's needed to get it to align.

i got mine fixed an hr ago. Really really easy. You just have to loosen the B-pipe screws, twist the pipe a little till they even out, and secure back the screws. 5 mins job at a muffler shop!
