Exhaust By-Pass Valve
Anyone out there tried this product? I've seen these listed on EBay for the CL/TL/RL for $38. They advertise a 10% increase in Hp for normally aspirated engines. Here's the url: http://www.exhaustcutouts.com/FAQ.html

It is basically just running headers and by-passing the exhaust system. It is 100% illegal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Loud, it will be as loud as a stock car engine. I remeber back about 10 years ago I had a Chevy Citation and the CAT was plugged and the car kept stalling. So I pulled over and cut the pipes off on the interstate. The car was so FREAKING loud you could hardly hear yourself think. But the car was much faster.

A lot of high end Mustang and Camaro exhausts come like this.
It seems kind of silly on a TL. But, even still... dropping the exhaust
usually gives you high end power and loses torque. Since we're stuck
with an automatic, any gains you see in top end power will be offset by a weak bogged launch.
BTW, this is usually a road racer mod... not a dragger mod.
