Exhaust noise in cabin

Ok, so this is my first car thats had exhaust.

My setup = Stock headers (soon to be DC heads)>XLR8 HFCAT>ATLP; and while I love the sound my car makes, I cant help but find that its a little intrusive while inside the cabin.

I know aftermarket exhaust is usually a bit loud, but my question is this, is there any way to dampen some of that noise inside the car?

I'll probably be hung for this but, what about silencers?

Thats the drone. No way to get rid of it other than change your setup

Had some people w/me yesterday and at times I had to speak pretty loud.
Not a big deal when I'm by myself.

x2, and just make sure the exhaust is not touching the body anywhere, and all the mounts are attached (and only use the rubber hangers)

and you do get use to the drone, where it does not bother you anymore (and kinda learn to avoid those rpm's that makes it the noisyist (sp?))

You can add another muffler too (although not sure if you want to cut up the ATLP exhaust). The Vibrant Ultra Quiet Resonator will quiet it down but is straight through so it has minimal restrictions. It did a good job taking some of the harshness out of my setup.

^Yea that thought had crossed my mind but I would hate to cut-up such a nice exhaust.

I really dont mind it when I'm alone, I just turn up the tunes.

I hear ya, I'll probably get a gallon of eDead V3 and coat the trunk and under the rear seats when the weather gets warmer, that is said to have somewhat of an effect on reducing drone.

spray-on bedliner will do the same thing, and will get into all the small nook and crannies, but you gotta tape up anything you don't want coated though
