Question Exhaust

I need opinions on exhaust systems. I know you don't get much gain from putting on a exhaust system for the TL. I am though looking for the best gain in HP. I also want it to sound good. Money is no object. Also Cat back or axle back?
Thanx in advance.

i've heard only good things about the factory exhaust. i would have have to say get a cat-back if you are striving for the ponies, or muffler only if looking for a deep sound. personally i like the quiet cabin. just get an exhaust manifold (headers).

I already have the comptech headers. Which cat back system is the best. Greddy EVO Evolution Dual Exhausts System or Tanabe Exhaust - Hyper Medalion?

a catbackwill make u lose some low end power, but it will give you more high end power.

I dont want the supercharger. I have gone through 3 trannies already. I don't want the 4th one. I just want a good sounding and nice looking exhaust to complement my CT headers.

I do have a question for str8acura. Why do you lose low end power with cat back system? Is it because of the lack of back pressure?

I also have a question for vsop TL-S. Do you have any pics? Why did you pick the tanabe Hyper Medallion over the greddy.

Thanx for the replies

I picked them because I like loud exhausts and believe me they don't get much louder than the Tanabes. But I also had the Greddy Evos before I got the Tanabes. I think the Tanabes are better because they use full stainless steel construction. I.E. it is a full stainless steel exhaust system. Unlike the Greddy's which only have stainless steel mufflers. Yet, still both exhausts are still good and I recommend them both. In my opinion, they are the two best choices for catbacks. I'll post some pics when I get home from school. Later.

Well I made my up my mind. I just bought the Tanabes. They will be here in a week. I can't wait. My car should kick a$$. I will be putting on my CT headers, Tanabe exhaust and taking out my AEM CAI for the CT Ice Box. I hope my tranny holds out.
Thanks for all your help Guys!

Is there a TL-S application? Or is that the 4dr accord application? If so(to the second question), how much did it need to be modified?

no application for TL-S...there's one for the CL-S tho...can't confirm if it will be bolt on for the TL-S...i have the AV6 app...had to extend the piping bout 4" tho also had to mod the cat flange on the GReddy cos the bolt pattern was a lil different on the stock cat(same bolt pattern, just the bolt was farther apart from the Greddy flange)...other than that bolt on...hope this helps Laters
