I just ordered the 5zigen exhaust for my TL cause I really like the look of it. But I was wondering which exhaust is bigger? the 5zigen or the Comptech? I know probably the 5zigen will make a lot more noise than the comptech, but which one adds more hp? Thanks everyone

 

the HP increase is so minimal with axle-back exhausts that it really doesn't matter which is more.

The increase with the Comptech is in the +3-5 hp range, although there are people on here that say it's more.

Don't buy an exhaust for HP increases because you'll be disappointed.... buy it for looks and sound only.

Oh, I have Comptech exhausts on my TL but I don't know about the size of the exhaust you ordered, so I can't compare the two.

If the 5zigen is anything like the HKS Dragger (they look similar) then the exhaust are definately larger then the CompTech's. As for the sound, I'm not sure, but again the HKS' are louder then the CompTech's, so it's possible that the 5zigen is louder too. It still had that deep exhaust note, but it was a tad higher pitched and louder then the CompTech. I haven't heard either first hand, they were all .wav files......
