1) I am getting a Black TL shortly. Is it worth using the Meguiars Polish? Does it make a difference for a new car?

2) Does layering Meguiars wax (3 step or Gold Class) actually add another layer of protection? Or does it just ensure that any paint missed in the first application get protected in the second?

It depends on whether the dealer offers a paint protection package. I bought one from my dealer and I am not supposed to use any wax on it. Every 6 months the dealer reapplies its protectant.

Using the Maguiars is definitely a good idea. The paint cleaner/polish/wax works real well. I use it on my Integra. Zaino is also a popular product mentioned on the board. You can read about it at www.zaino.com I belive.
