Excuse the hell out of me...

ArN 2000 TL - I didn't realize I had to be a "Premium" or "Gold" member to post something on your precious For Sale/Wanted forum. I have been a member of this board for a long time, but there have been a lot of changes.

We just enforce the rules.

No need to post three times for the same thing. I deleted the other two. We got enough bandwidth problems.

Yeah Titan, there have been quite a few changes around here recently. If you want to sell stuff, you can post on *********.com for free. Just be sure to remove the hyphens in the address I listed.

I don't think ArN 2000 TL did anything wrong. There are some people who post a for sale item and hoping that the moderators will move them to the For Sale forum. This way, they can have their thread in there without being a Gold or Premium member.

The least he could have done is tell me how to become such an elite member instead of telling me I'm not and deleting my post. One would figure that spending roughly $4,800 with Tim would get you some type of Premium membership....

Bi-Pass Valve...$46.88
Comptech Headers...$1099.96
Comptech Exhaust..$599.36 (Sold to Shuffin')

Tokico Struts (Rear),,,$135.85
Comptech Anti-Sway Bars...$299.93
Alignment Kit (Rear)...$174.72
Denso Spark Plugs...$84.00
Axxis Brake Pads (Front)...$75.96

I think hes saying for being such a loyal customer to the site that he should get a membership from tim.

The discounts that are being offered on those parts he bought alone more than pay for his membership...how about it Tim? Can you hook him up without opening a can of worms???

Thanks for seeing my point guys; but actually, I don't even have my TL anymore so I don't really need any special membership. I was leasing my '99 TL, and I turned it in and got a '02 Millenia. I know, I know...I've got to be crazy, right? Actually, I had planned on buying my TL when the lease was up, but I would have had a 3 1/2 year old car with 100,000 miles, with no warrany, and I would be paying a lot more for it than it would be worth. When I looked at it logically, I could not justify this. My wife quit working last year, so I was looking for a deal when I recently purchased. Guess which one I could better deal on between the TL and the Millenia? You guessed it. Granted, the Millenia is not car the TL is, but it will serve me well. I sacrificed some power, but the Millenia is still a good-looking, nice riding car. Anyway, I had a G-Tech Pro and a black leather TL shifter knob I was going to try and move. That's where all this started.

Take care, and I will probably still check in on the TL group. I never thought I would see the day when I handed over the keys, but I enjoyed it while it lasted!

I know he doesn't have his TL anymore... so this whole topic is kind of irrelivant.... but if he had contacted Tim directly rather then posting on the board... Tim probably would have worked something out with him....
