Second only to the BMW 330i and tied position with the Audi A4 Quattro gives me great pride in the TL

yeah i saw the whole audi thing... my friend has the exact same model they test drive and i can give u my personal comparison

1. our engine is quieter... his roars like its going fast when its not really
2. the back seats in that car are really tiny
3. the sportshift is faster in the TL than the audi (explaining why the TL has faster 0-60 times)
4. audi has a nice interior... definitely praise worthy
5. in my opinion the TL handles slightly better.. not by much but the sports package (mostly the tires) explain why the audi handles slightly better ... put the same 235/45/17s on the TL and then we'll see
6. 30k car vs 38k... hmmm, not sure i like the QUATTRO THAT much to pay 8k more for it over a TL-S


as for car and driver, subjectivity HAS to go from those scores. Aside from that, they test the cars pretty well. Edmunds.com guys are a little softer on the cars.
