Phew! I made it through these past few days unscathed... It wasn't easy though!
I got that stupid yellow PC Cruiser back to the body shop and picked up my car, and did she run oh so smooooth!
.....but .....but .....but
...I would have let this thread die, but there's a 'but'...
I did my walk around on the car and noticed a scratch and it looked as though something scraped against it or something; right on the tip of my front bumper (no plate holder). So I went back inside and informed them that I had never seen this and thought maybe they unknowingly did something.
The woman was extremely nice through the whole process! We looked at the pictures they had on file and we were able to zoom in on the spot to verify it wasn't there prior to coming. She was extremely apologetic and informed the manager; he took a look and was apologetic as well. Went on to say that if it had been noticed they would have fixed it initially (they obviously have the tools to do it) and informed me when I picked it up.
Unfortunately for me, I had to reschedule another appointment for for this Wednesday to part with her again.
(Fortunately for me, the front was in worse shape than the back
)
I'll be getting another loaner at that point though and we'll really have to hope I don't get a bright yellow Easter Egg Cruiser.
I think if I hear either of the words 'PT Cruiser' or 'Yellow' I will drive with them back to the HQ and ask them get me another car.
No, no... make them give me another car.
