Engine/TCS Light Dealer Diagnosis

A little over a week ago I put out a question to the forum asking what the possible problems could be being that my Engine Malfunction & TCS lights came on. I appreciate everyones help and responses.

Well, I took the car to the dealer today and the funny thing was that on the way there the engine light goes off. Too Much... Well I decided to go anyway and have them look at it. My car has 77k on it and I was told it would be $90 to diagnose the problem unless it was for a warrantied item.

After a about an hour, the service rep comes back and tells me I need a new transmission. I have a 2003 TL-S loaner for the next 10 days while they wait for parts. One good thing is its all covered.

Good dealership. Most would have said "No CEL, no warranty work. Have a nice day."
