Got 15,000 on my 2002 TLS. My engine sounds a lot louder then before. Sat in my friends TLS and his engine doesn't sound as loud as mine. Even more noticeable when I'm cuising at 60 with pressing the gas. Just got an oil change at 14,000 and had no problems before.

Should I goto the dealership to ask whats up with that, but I really don't want to deal with them saying "we didn't find anything wrong with your car sir."

Is this normal? or if you use 10W20 or a different engine oil on your TLS, would it affect engine noise? This is freaking me out especially with all them tranny failures that I'm hearing about. Thanks!

 

Correction- I meant cruising at 60 withOUT pressing the gas pedal.
