Engine mounts

I had to have two engine mounts replaced on my TL and I think I have to go back to have others changed because I think they're starting to go. This is an expensive repair and so many TL owners are having this problem. Does anyone know if Acura beefed up the mounts on the 3rd gen TL's?

It's a lot easier with 2 people (one watching the engine and one in the driver's seat)
1 - Open hood
2 - Start car
3 - Put car in drive.
4 - With left foot firmly planted on brake give the car some gas
5 - Watch for engine to rock front to back on its mounts

The more it rocks, the worse off the mounts are.

I just wanted to know if Acura fixed some of the common problems the second generation TL had on the third generation TL like the tranny, engine mounts, poor start/idle, etc.

As much as I'd love to keep my TL, I just don't think it's reliable anymore. I've spend too much money on it already in non-scheduled maintenance and the car only has 84k miles on it. Plus it drives like crap now. I never beat on my car which is what makes it more disappointing. My tranny has been acting weird recently so I want to get a new car before it goes. I was thinking of waiting til November when the new G35 sedan comes out or seeing what the do with the 2007 TL.
