Unhappy Engine/HID problems

I have a '99 TL with 83K miles, and I've had a lot of problems since I've hit the 80K mark. When going at higher speeds, and then quickly accelerating, the car started to lunge and do short-jumpy lunge movements. When I took it to the dealer, they said it was because I was very low on oil. However, that doesn't seem to be an issue with oil to me. Can anyone offer any insight? Or has this happened to anyone else? I'm curious to find out.

Also, I noticed that my HID lights seem like they're starting to fade. They're not as bright as the new TL's and one of the light's hues is off by quite a bit - has a much lighter/yellower light than the other. Is there a cheap fix to that? Is it worth replacing? If so, how much does that run?

Thanks dudes.

i don't know, but it might be your transmission and really has nothing to do with low on oil. as far as the hid goes, get some 6000k and your problem is solved.
