i was driving around the other night.. once i hit vtec my check engine and TCS popped on.. i parked and shut the car off and the tcs dissappeared.. i got the code read and it came up p1259 vtec system malfunction.. what does this mean?

 

this don't sound good at all. if you had the code read already, the dealer didn't tell you what it was?

 

i went to autozone and the guy looked up the code for me.. he said somthing about fuel regualtor or somthing.. then he mentioned to change my air filter.. but when i got home i looked up the code and it said vtec system malfunction

 

did you guy the car new or used? i think you should take it to a dealer for a more accurate check up before making any further decisions. just my opinion
