I kinda screwed myself because I was able to loosen them up but couldn't get the nuts fully off before the stud started spinning. Any ideas on how to take them off?

 

wrench on the nut, vice grip on the threads.

 

and MOOG replacements with bolt to tighten them

 

If you have enough of the stud exposed behind the nut and nothing else works, you can use a Dremel tool or something else with a cut off wheel to cut the stud.

 

Depending if you have enough of the stud exposed, i used a pair of vice grips and was able to hold it while loosening the nut. If all else fails, just cut it off and install your new ones.

Use the allen wrench to hold it from spinning.

 

The things is I don't have new ones to install! Am just trying to take the strut out to replace that, but I guess I'll run to the part store and buy the cheap ones they have in stock

Just changed mine a couple of weeks ago. While vice grips are the most common solution, I would recommend a set of needle nose vice grips. A normal vice grip may be too thick to fit in there. Also, tighten that vice grip as much as you can. I used this:

Milwaukee 9 in. Torque Lock Long Nose Locking Pliers with Durable Grip-48-22-3409 - The Home Depot

and it was great for torquing the vice grip versus regular ones where it's a round dial.
