Take it back the dealer I had the same problem with my 2000TL.
The problem was a faulty cap on the brake fluid resivor that caused the RED Emergency Brake to come on at times even when the Brake was released. The light also came on sometime when I pushed the brake pedal . Just found invoice from ACURA SERVICE. REPLACED BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER CAP. CAUSE FOUND MASTER CYLINDER CAP FLOAT LEVEL INOP, PART #4666-2S04-J01 CAP. RESERVE TA/ The problem happen most times in the mourning when I first started the car also. I had to take my car back 2 times for this to be fixed it was driving me crazy because it was INTERMITTENT problem. I had that service back in July of this year but I am sure this is the cause of your problem & if car is under warranty its covered. ACURA adjusted the brake the 1st time & did brake service because I had the 30,000 mile service done at that time. But I had to take it back because of this problem The same TECH worked on it again & found out what it was no more problems since July.
