Emblem on trunk fell off
Hi guys,
I have a 2001 Acura TL and yesterday while closing the trunk, the emblem fell off. The emblem that fell off was the one that says "3.5 TL". All that is left on the actual trunk is this grey hard material whichI assume is the glue that was used to hold it in place. Does anyone know the proper way to reattact this? Do I have to go to the dealer or a local body shop. I don't know if I should try to glue it on myself since I dont want to take a chance to ruin the paint or anything else.
Thanks....

Try these (for debadging):

Try this (for adhesive to rebadge):
http://www.midwayautosupply.com/deta...iption.asp?797
http://www.cardomain.com/shoplist~t~Adhesives (this one is mainly for inside, but does work on outdoor, may not last)
Also, 3M makes an adhesive for their boats and stuff and it can be used for cars and bikes. Only problem is it is hard to find. You might need to check some boat stores or marinas, but the product is like $7 and can tolerate a wide range of weather conditions... Peace...
