It is known that replacing the pulley with a smaller or underdrive pulley will decrease voltage. The UR crank pulley isn't supposed to drop the voltage below 12v with everything running, unless you have a high-wattage stereo system.

Get the UR 12v crank pulley. Thats what I have. No problems at all even w/ my 800w system. What kind of electrical problem are you having?

I've had my pulleys in for 25,000+miles and no problems whatsoever.

well, after I install the crank pulley in Feb everything was fine for 2 months. Then my car started to die on me. I thought it was nothing. Then It happened more and more. So I switch the battery out. The battery I got was not cheap but like mediocre. After I installed it it woulndt start. I thought it was my alternator or my starter but its neither. My body shiop guy acutally came down with his brother to takea look at my car. <--- nice service for a body shop guy but he also does mechanic work. WE jumped the car and he said its the battery that its not strong enough to start the car. I never have any battery or electrical problems before the crank puelley installation. Man I was freaking out when this happen because when I go start the car, the car ticks and and my windows start to roll down by itself. Felt like my car was possesed. My guy siggext get a new OPTIMA battery so I am gonna try that and hopefully everything will be ok. KEEPING MY FINGERS CROSSED!!! I only got my car back for a week after the conversion and it jsut been sitting there looking pretty dman I WANNA DRIVE IT!!!

Get a volt meter and test out the battery.

Test 1: Car off
Test 2: Car in key positon II
Test 3: While cranking engine
Test 4: When engine is running

Yeah I was going to suggest what nsxnext said. I think the red top has more cranking power then the yellow top. Is that correct? Enjoy the new car!!
