I installed the Rotora slotted and EBC green stuff about umm 2-3 months ago.

At the moment, my freaken brakes squeal, and make a lot of noise when stopping gradually. if i stop hard and fast: no noise. Im getting annoyed, any suggestions?

I heard it can be brake dust, but how much brake dust can there be to be to make such a loud noise?

 

i have the same problem with my brembo slotted and crossdrilled rotors. i dont make a big deal about and just ignore it. as long as it stops find dont worry about it.

Just curious, Did you apply,say, Molykote M77 on the back of the pads and on both sides of the pad shims before reassembly?

 

here is the thing, EBC pads come with special BREAK-IN material on their pads, which basically grinds faster against the rotor to it can settle in good. So, no at first I didnt put any anti-squeek, four weeks later, I did, they have a spray that goes on the rotor itself...... the noise is not that bad, it is only there for the initial touch of the brake pedal, then it goes away...as long as I can on a dime from most high speeds, i'll deal with it.

don't be makin' ME nervous - that's the set-up i am about to install on mine! t'was either EBC Greenstuff or Hawk, and i went with EBC...

lol, dude, u never know,,, both companies make great brakes, I cant believe sometimes when I press the brakes at hight speeds how effortlessly and fast the car stops.
