eBay leather seat cover installed
For anyone curious about the leather seat cover being sold on eBay for our TLs, I bought a driver's seat bottom cover and installed it today. I am shocked at how nice it is. I also bought replacement armrest leather, just waiting on the foam pad to come in.

Hog Ring pliers kit:
The armrest cover I bought, seems great, but haven't installed yet, waiting for foam padding to arrive (the OEM stuff disintegrated into a sticky, black substance):

I think, in having a black interior, I'm lucky as color matching isn't an issue. I wonder if different colors will match suitably well? Something to think about for those who don't have a black interior...

My order was just for the driver side seat back & bottom. It did not come with 'perforated' leather, as ordered.
The seat pattern they used was smaller then the factory and installation was challenging, though I 'got it done'.
However, you may have a different result if you go with the duel front seat replacements as seen above?
I will say this, Lseat.com is NOT large on customer service & the only way YOU can communicate with them is by email.
When a message is returned from them, it is a vague & not very informative 'one-line sentence' as an answer, so beware.
They did give me a $20 debit to my credit card for the non-perforated leather, though only by pointing out the error by email.
It took exactly 61 days to receive the order and they don't send you a notification when the order is shipped, it just shows up laying on your outside porch.
If you opt to venture the Lseat.com route, pay with a credit card to allow the recourse of charging-back the cost should you run into problems or become frustrated with what they send.
Good Luck!

What about Katzkin?
My friend was able to get an entire replacement leather interior for his 95 Legend coupe many years ago. You'd think they have newer Acura kits.... That was a nice kit, too
I probably wouldn't want to redo the entire leather from the eBay guy I got the seat cover from, the quality was "good enough" but there's a few little problems with the cover I got, easy enough to work through to repair one seat, wouldn't want to deal with it on a bigger project.

I searched two months ago and the only retail 2G CL-S leather replacements I could find were from Lseat.com.

I would prefer the perforated leather too, but your seat is impressive.
Lseat is now bookmarked. Thank you, kind sir.

Man, those Katzkin's look top-notch. Yeah, they don't have our cars, but they do have a request form. Who knows, maybe they'll make some for us.

I went back to their website, and they don't even list Acuras anymore. But, I KNOW they have the templates for many Acuras, back in the early 2000's people were installing Katzkin in their Legends.

Finished the eBay leather armrest replacement, came out excellent:
The original armrest foam had turned into a black, sticky, goo. I resorted to using brake fluid to dissolve it.
3/16 adhesive-backed foam installed

Initially, I planned to build-up the seat foam, because the seat felt blown-out. I bought a sheet of 1/2 high density seat cushion foam, but when I removed the old seat cover I found the original foam in perfect condition. Both the original and replacement leather cover have a second layer of foam sewn onto them. That sewn-on foam was destroyed, I was pleasantly surprised I didn't need to rebuild the seat foam, and even more surprised at how much better the seat feels after getting the new cover.
I paid about $200 for a new seat cover and armrest cover. It totally transforms this old car. Makes the old car feel relevant again, who needs a $800 car payment?!
