Easy way to adjust trunk springs w/o special tool?

great picture Akoni. I guess I got sick of the damn thing falling on my head so I went outside and adjusted. I really can't tell that much of a difference? Maybe I need the high tension one.

Question: Is the Accord trunk spring the same as the TL?

1999TL,
Do you have an OEM wing or another type of aftermarket one? When I did the adjustment, I couldn't visually see a difference, but it seemed to raise easier and stay up easier with my OEM spoiler.
I have no idea if my accord's trunk springs are the same as yours, anyone have a picture of their trunk spring on their TL? Also, for those who already adjusted 'em, are my pictures accurate?

After I saw your picture, I went outside and just adjusted it real quick. Took literally a minute. I have a Value Spoiler.

I called into Honda and asked to check the Acura part number for the springs and it didn't come up.
