intake, headers, underdrive pulley, 09 tl manifold etc imo. You can upgrade exhaust but our cars arent that restrictive stock so not a big gain there.

Only drive around with 1/4 tank of gas, and gut the interior?

haha, just kidding. You look like you already have an intake so I think the next best thing for you would be headers, and crank pulley. I have read that the Alternator pulley and Power Steering Pulley don't really free or add any HP, but I did them anyways.

If i was you, i would do headers next. You'll feel a difference, more than the intake.

for headers, comptech is the best quality and maybe best gains, but they are pricey as hell. Over 1k new. If you can find a used set for cheap that would be good. Since you are auto Id say the dc headers. I think they are second best and alot cheaper than comptech. Also I'd do the 09 tl manifold with the tb adapter over the power plenums myself. You can also buy the gaskets.

everyones suggestions are good but they all left out the easiest hp gain

if you pour this in your gas tank its like 1 trillion octane plus the suger will make your car jittery and unstable also adderall works well too if you put it in your oil tank this combo will easily add TONS OF HP dont forget to take the NOS ENERGY sticker off the bottle and stick it on your car thats a little tip that will give you 5+ hp ask slushhyyy good luck have fun with your

i heard obx headers are shit..

if you're tight on money.. try and find a used pair of xs power headers although they already discontinued them.. most people have no problems with them (resonance).

or as an alternative.. you can always try the megans.. but they are more of a hit or miss.

if you're planning to get the intake manifold gaskets, i'd get the P2R. or if you're planning to do the intake manifold gasket along with the throttle body spacer/gasket.. you should just get the thermoblock kit.. goes for $100~ shipped iirc.

will the 09 TL IM fit a 99 tl-P without modifications to the lower runners and fuel rails and would you have to somehow switch to a drive-by-wire setup apposed to trottle linkage?

don't see why not , it fits the j32a2, and the a2 manifold fits your engine

and about the tb READ UP, p2r makes an adapter to use your stock tb on the SH-AWD manifold

Just their idea of a joke. Don't take it personal. Sometimes you have overlook a few silly comments between the good ones.

The J32a2 IM doesn't bolt right up to the 99, you need to change the lower runners and fuel rails. It's the only year 2G you have to which sucks for me. I know about P2R I've been on this forum for 6 years. Just didn't know about the 09 IM. I figured it wouldn't fit and probably shouldn't have asked the question. Just frustrated with the limited options for the 99's.
