i wanted to know how they compare to us because tonight i was surrounded by two of them (one on the left and one on the right, i was in the middle) and decided to leave them both.(standard procedure shift to SS drop...yada yada) anyway i think i pissed both of them off and they both did a fly by:wow: ...i was able to catch one of them and passed him....but the other one was way gone......!

TL-P should whop E320 no prob

TL-S and E430 should be a good match i think...

but no more 430 from 2003.... only 320 and 500

 

no, i don't think tls can compete with e430, that thing is a beast, specially on highway it flies

 

well TL-S (bone stock) at 14.8 and E430 at 14.7 for 1/4, it will be a good match, don't you think?

 

TL would surprise E320 from stand still... but only up to about 50 - 60 mph, then it's nothing but E320's taillights...

I have beaten a few E320s with my TL.

BTW, the E430 will walk all over the TL-S in the high end.

 

well i have a stock TL-P (if you dont count the upgraded cupholders) so i shouldnt feel to bad that i only got on of them last night.

Just make sure it is not a C32 AMG. A C32 AMG is supercharged and can do the quarter in the 13s from a recent test by Car and Driver

Friend has a white 2001 E320. Its a very NICE car! I luv the rearview mirrors and the electronics in the car ! The carpet and interior is so clean i could eat off of it!



Raced him on the freeway, Pretty much equal (215hp)... Beat him by a few cars on a 50 roll... THE THING HAS SURPRISING TOP END!!! MAKES ME HATE MY 4TH GEAR!

E420 is a beast! In third the car's torque really shows... Takes 2 cars on me while im in 3rd H/I/P/Exhaust should do the trick tho:p

Same with the S500. The guy i raced took off his cat and had open exhaust with 20's lorinsers. He beat me by 2 cars just like the E420...

An Accord V6 w/ 50 shot of nitrous I/H/E is the exact same thing as racing these benzes. (14.5-14.8 sec)

 

BTW all i have is 2000 TL-P W/Cold Air Intake (AEM) and Tru power pulleys...

 

THE BEST RACE when it comes to our cars and a Benz would be a SLK230. Same guy with the S500 owns a supercharged SLK230 on Brabus 18's... All he has is exhaust... Dead EVEN RACE! Beat him once by a hood maybe That car can beat any GSR with light mods.
