Can someone post a dyno with stock tl and a tl with headers? I just want to know for sure how much headers increase hp.

 

Well I heard that stock TL's dyno at around 174HP to the wheel. My car dynoed a total of 204HP to the wheel. Below is my opinion as to what added what.

Base 174
Intake 8
Exhaust 5
VAFC 5
Headers 12
Total 204

Just my opinion. Although NSX4DR has Intake and Comptech Exhaust I think he dynoed about 193 to the wheel. With this figure, adding 5HP for the VAFC, the headers would have only given me 6HP to the wheel. So it's really hard to say how much headers give you. Give or take close to 15HP to the wheel would be my guess.

But then the CL-S guys are getting like 25 HP to the wheel from the headers considering CL-S stock has 197 or so to the wheel.

Either my car's f*cked up or Stock TL only has like high 160's or very low 170's.

I think power gains from performance parts are all dependent on the engine itself. Every engine is different in minute ways, so therefore every engine will result in different power gains from various performance parts. The only way to find out how much a certain modification affected the power output is to dyno the car after each and every modification. There you will actually get an accurate answer.
