You need to advertise that car nationwide, try http://www.cars.com
or perhaps yahoo classifieds..
Trouble is you are asking dealership dollars for your car!
And even then most people like to ****er the dealership down.
Usually dealerships have about a 4k mark up on average.
So they give the buyer room to negotiate, and they still
make money. If you are asking 25k, your going to have
to get that needle in the haystack out there that wants a
black vette, grandsport.
Not a lot of people looking for a older vette, and wanting
to pay dealership dollars. Even though it is the GrandSport,
you got used C5's that can be had for that money.
If you dropped the price by 2k, it would probably sell in a
week or two.. If you dropped the price by a $1k.. Maybe a
month or two.. I think at your current price, it might take
a year. Make sure you sell it before C6's hit the streets.
There anticipation will probably have some degradation
on the resell values of the C4's, and especially C5's.
Good luck

NoO! I didn't mean that!!
Sure pay attention to retail. But it is hard to sell a used car
at retail. That's dealer retail.. Unless you have a MDX,
or some hot commodity, it's hard to get full retail in the
classifieds! Get as much as you can!!!! Good luck!
2004's will be nice !

Actually I see you are under $1k on NADA.. I had previously looked at your car, without the options on Edmunds, and came to a dealer price of 25k. I'm a noobie! Heh, what do I know!
