Dual Stage Shock Sensor Problem

My Crime Stopper Dual Stage Shock Sensor goes off when a car with a exhaust comes by or something that makes the floor vibrate. I can't go anywhere public and leave the car with the sensor engaged. I lowered the sensitivity to the lowest setting and the sensor still goes off.

The funny this is when I shake the car the alarm doesn't go off.

Let me know if anyone had this problem and how they fixed it.

Because my subwoofer in the trunk is so loud, I can drive around a mall parking lot and everybody's car that has an alarm starts to go off. I bet standers-by think I just bumped their cars. lol

that's what happens when i'm in a parking garage. i start my car and the surrounding cars with sensors have their alarms set off. and i just have comptech exhausts and removed my resonator!
it's pretty funny when people around look to make sure i didn't bump their car!

I hate guys like you... j/k...

How do I fix the problem.

Is there any way to have the high beams to light instead of the HIDS.. I would think it going off all the time that it would kill the HIDS...

remove the pre-warn trigger and using just the main trigger should help de-sensitize it.

either that or change the location of the sensor.

If I remove the pre-warn trigger it would go off soon. I thought the pre-warn trigger gave a warner then if it kept moving they it would go off...

I dont understand y it doesnt go off when I shake the car...

the one i have has both a pre-warn and main trigger light. The pre-warn is more sensitive, but if it goes "on" frequently enough (even before the main trigger is ever "lit"), it causes the alarm to go off.

You may have a different kind than i do and they are all different.

and the reason it doesn't go off when you shake the car is because it's not a "shock". I have a combo shock/motion sensor that I will eventually hook up when I have time which would take care of the movement part of the equation.

What kind of combo shock/motion sensor do you have?

How much did you spend?

Do you hook it up the same way you hook up the shock sensor?
