Dual DIN head unit replacement (searched)
Hi all, new to the forum and TL's, not new to Hondas but I digress.
So the stock head unit in my '02 TL-P non nav is shot (busted CD changer which I gather is fairly common). I am fine with my iPod and cassette adaptor for now, but in a few months when I have the scratch I would like to replace the head unit with a dual DIN DVD/Nav unit (Eclipse or Kenwood).
I hadn't planned on ordering from them anyway, but Crutchfield's fitment guide states that a dual DIN unit will not fit in our cars. I can't find any pics of anyone running a DD head unit and I want to make sure that one will fit and look somewhat close to factory when I'm done. I'm not new to car audio or installing the gear myself (none of my old cars sported the stock audio gear for very long) but this is a nicer car than the ones I've owned before and I won't be satisfied with a "rigged" system, in appearance or function.
Thanks in advance for any help you guys can provide.

I have dead hookers in
if you want to buy one you can call these guys up and they can help you out. They make them when you order them and make them specifically for the headunit you have/want. They are not cheap but they are very good quality and look really really close to stock.
do a yahoo search for GIG HARBOR AUTO WORKS
if you look on the INSTALLS page they have some Acura on there.
Since you stated that you are not a novice to working with your hands here is a DIY from AZine that shows you how to convert a Metra single DIN into a DD.
