Drying your car...

Can't remember the name of the product, supposed to be
awesome for drying your car... I would do a search... but
since I don't know what I'm looking for, it would be kinda hard.

Not the water blade... the towel thingy..

????

I've heard of something by the name of "micro" something maybe microfiber or whatever, heard it was really good at absorbing water, anyone have input on this? Also, are genuine leather absorbers any better than say paying $8 for the "absorber"?? Thanks

Buying some nice microfiber towels is good to have around.... Wiping up some of the spots the Absorber misses....

They also have a very fine microfiber towel that does wonders on windows....

I just ordered 9 microfiber towels for removing polish, but I kinda
wanted something tougher to remove water and something I
wouldn't confuse with other microfiber towels.

Real leather chams can remove wax and polish, so it's actually
better to use artificial.

In my search for the absorber I found this... ???

Ryan,

I haven't used the micro fiber for drying yet.. but I have used the one they make for for waxing.. it works absolutely great!!

I bet the drying one works good as well.

The leather ones tend to dry out, and you have to wet it before use. The Absorber comes in a canister that keeps it moist enough for use anytime, but dry enough to be effective.
IMO, get the Absorber, you won't regret it. I have 2 of them.

You can get it at any Auto Parts store.. you don't have to order it online..

I have a great test to see if your Microfiber towel is a good one.

First off NicSand brand MF towels suck. Do not use them.

Here's the test.

Take an old CD and wipe a clean MF towel across the surface of the disk. From the middle to the edge of the disk. Wipe with as much pressure as you would when removing wax/polish. Does it scratch???? Return it and try again.

Ther best ones I have found are call Viper MF towels or Miracle MF towels. They work great.
