Post Dry "leather" on door panels

The "leather" (vinyl I think) fabric in the door panels of my TL-S is drying out for some reason. The driver's door side is drying out faster than the other three doors but it's definitely becoming more brittle and hard.

What can I do to recondition the pleather and make it more supple? Will any vinyl reconditioner work?

It IS vinyl, isn't it?

I checked mine out this morning and the stuff on the door feels and looks like leather as oppose to the pleather you find on the non-seating surface of the seats. If it is leather use Lexol to clean and condition it. People on this board say Lexol is good stuff.

The material on the door panels is Leather and not Pleather.

Where can you find Lexol? I tried my local Autoparts superstore with no luck.

I got mine from O'Reilly's Auto Parts in Kansas City. Call several stores in your yellow pages.

I'm still looking for a store that sells Lexol Vinylex.

Carcareonline has Lexol Vinylex, if you're interested.
