Driving without foglights

nO i do not plan on taking my foglights out (although that would be one way to solve foglight problems) but i was wondering if its okay to drive without the foglights in place for awhile? reason being is cause i want to take out both foglights and replace them with Lexan Lens. But i still have to drive 60 mins to school and it'll take me awhile to change the lens. wondering if anything bad would happen to parts behind the foglights?? thanks for any inputs guys.

by the way... has anyone realized any bad reasons NOT to have the lexan lens? i installed one side alreadi but that one got the black chips and all inside the case before i did the swap. now i about to order a brand new pair with another member on this forum, so i want to change both sides to lexan lens. would there be any problems taking the lexan lens back out the old one and sticking it to the new case again? i still have the other side new so hopefully no need to worry about that. Thanks for all the helpp everyone!!! This forum is one of the best...

you wont experience any problems driving with your fog lights removed, i didnt. as a precaution, i squirted a small amount of white lithium grease inside the connectors to keep the wires from corroding and i e-taped the connector, in case it rained.
