Question Driver's Seat & Battery/Brake Light

I posted a couple weeks ago about getting a battery light and brake light simultaneously (sp?). I talked to my mechanic and the dealer and they both agreed it was more than likely the alt, so I replaced it. Well the light came back. The next day and on the way to school tonight, it stayed on almost the entire time (about 20 minutes) but there was no decrease in battery voltage (I have a meter on my battery). Now I've noticed when I lean to the left in my drivers seat, the light goes off, back to the right and comes on. It did this consistenly 9 out of 10 times. Is there any connections in the seat that may make this light come on? Maybe a ground or something? I have no idea what it is at this point. I was wiggling all kinds of wires today with someone in the car to see if I could replicate the problem but it wouldn't do it. Now it almost seems like I can't get it to go away. Anyone with a good knowledge of trouble shooting electrical systems got any advice? Thanks in advance for you help.

Well, I guess no one has any info on this. I don't know if it has anything to do with the seat but it seemed pretty odd. This morning on the way to work, it only went on when I got on it a little bit but when I was just cruising, it wasn't on. Last night it seemed to be the opposite. Maybe I'll just try replacing the alt again and see what happens with that. Maybe the rebuilt one I got was not done right.

there should be nothing in the seat that would cause it. Check ALL the visible grounds. Check the battery and its grounds and cables. Make sure every thing is tight and clean. If it is the alt have someone test it
