I posted a few months ago about my driver side squeak coming from the balljoint area everytime I turn the wheel. The sound has disappeared, but there is still a squeak everytime I lift or push down on that side of the car...I took it to the shop and they said my suspension is fine...any ideas???

heh...now i'm going to feel like an idiot...what's a bushing and can you do it yourself?

Bushings are typically any thing from rubber to urethane that mounts suspension/engine ect to the body of the car to isolate it from vibration. Most likely it would be something you could fix but you need to isolate where its coming from first

 

where should I look for these bushings on the suspension and how would i fix it? does it need to be tightened or replaced?
